still needs a proper test.
I don’t think asking AI for a trading strategy is enough to build a lasting edge. I think your best chance starts with your own idea, including combinations of data other people haven’t thought to test.
I became obsessed with how quants work at large hedge funds. I applied their research principles myself, then turned those principles into instructions AI can carry out. That’s what I’ve built into Part-Time Quant.
I build systems that help you develop and manage your own strategies. PTQ brings quant-grade backtesting to each strategy, so you can examine the evidence behind an idea.

Trading gave me a way out
I've been doing this for 10 years and it's been good to me. It also cost me my health, sanity, relationships, and somewhere in there I worked out I didn't want to be a trader. I wanted the time and the freedom it could pay for, so I could go and do other things.
That's what it gave me, and it's the reason I built "Part-Time Quant": it does everything for me so I can go and finally enjoy my life. On 22 September I'll show you how I use it. I can't promise it does the same for you but if it gets you a bit of the same freedom to go and do something else, it'll all be worth it.

Do I need to know how to code?
You can follow the walkthrough without being a programmer. I’ll show the instructions I give AI and explain the research decisions. Building your own system still takes setup and checking the output.
Will you give me a trading strategy?
I’ll demonstrate the process using an example. The point is to help you build and test your own strategies, rather than depend on one supplied strategy or a stream of signals.
Does it cost anything? Will there be an offer?
There’s no charge to attend. I’ll also explain the separate paid PTQ software offer. You can watch the workshop without buying.
Will there be a replay if I can’t attend live?
A replay is planned. Register so you receive the event emails and replay details when they’re available. Your personal join link will arrive by email.
Will this make money for me?
No. Research can reject weak ideas and expose problems in a test, but it cannot remove trading risk or tell you what you will earn.
